Ok, it is not what you are thinking … I have mis-spelt the WI-FI acronym. Oh no …… the break in blog posts is due to …. yes another corny joke.  Well I‘m – Fifty In Europe !!

While still a little behind in blogs, I had to interrupt and post today to acknowledge that I have turned fifty. The fossil has reached a milestone. I have posted a few pics to reflect the importance of 1965 and 50. A small confession, I almost went looking for a 1965 50 cent coin. But stopped myself when I recalled the start date of decimal currency. For you young folk out there, look it up. But you can guess it was after 14 May 1965.

I included the endeavour Round 50 cent coin because …. Well I am 50 …… And it reminds me of being a little worn and well travelled like the endeavour. 

Anyway, thanks to all who sent birthday wishes via email, SMS, blog comments and facebook comments ….. Yes I have appeared on Facebook. I think it has something to do with me letting Kylie play around with a few photos and  a dummy facebook account. Oh well ……. Perhaps I can bore a few people with multiple facebook posts on things that only I find funny. Just looked up a few Facebook sites …. And I may be right at home with my unfunny material.

Before I go ………… I have been asked how I feel about being an official fifty year old fossil (apologies to those already there) …… Well, I shall let you watch the video link below and you will know my attitude towards turning fifty and pretty much everything else.
